Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) is the apex Agricultural Research Organization of Pakistan.It has presence in all provinces and territories of the country. National Agricultural Research Centre (NARC), its largest research centre and host of Pakistan’s National Gene Bank (PGRI), located in the vicinity of ChakShahzad, Islamabad intends to engage qualified and competent individuals as “Research Assistant” under Crop Trust funded MoU project titled “BOLD WP1: Capacity and Resource Development of National Genebank of Pakistan” PGRI, NARC,Islamabad.

Qualification/ experience |
B.Sc (Hons) / Mscdegree in Computer Science / Bioinformatics, or a related field. Knowledge of genetic resources data standards. Experience in Web-Based Database Management Systems and Data Migration Techniques and Tools. Have experience of SQL server Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team. |

Rs. 60,000/- per month (fixed&all inclusive) |

Duration: |
Initially for a period of six months (extendable) or till the life of project whichever is earlier. |

On the day of interview, candidates are required to bring along duly filled application form (available at PARC website)www.parc.gov.pk with detailed CV (hardcopy), one set of attested academic and experience credentials, copy of CNIC and a passport size photograph.
