Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) is the apex Agricultural Research Organization of Pakistan.It has presence in all provinces and territories of the country. National Agricultural Research Centre (NARC), its largest research centre and host of Pakistan’s largest Gene Bank (PGRI), located in the vicinity of ChakShahzad, Islamabad intends to engage qualified and competent person as “Research Assistant” under Crop Trust funded MoU project titled “BOLD WP1: Capacity and Resource Development of National Genebank of Pakistan” PGRI, NARC,Islamabad.

Qualification/ experience |
BS (Hons) / M.Scdegree in Agriculture or a related field. Knowledge of Plant Germplasmand Germination Testing Procedures. Computer skills and willingness to learn new computer software. Familiarity with data digitization processes and tools. Strong data entry and record-keeping skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team. |

Rs. 60,000/- per month (fixed&all inclusive) |

Duration: |
Initially for a period of six months (extendable) or till the life of project whichever is earlier. |

Pakistani Nationals (male/female) who fulfill the required qualification/experience may appear for walk-in-interview on 21-03-2024(Thursday) at 9:00 am on above given address/venue.
On the day of interview, candidates shall bring along duly filled application form (available at PARC website)www.parc.gov.pk with detailed CV (hardcopy), one set of attested academic and experience credentials, copy of CNIC and passport size photograph.
